E3 was pretty boring this year... Current console gen is winding down. Nintendo had a decent showing, but the Switch has become a disappointment for me personally. Half of the games they show are simply ports from last gen games that I've already played. AC being delayed was a huge bummer for me. The only thing they showed that I REALLY want to play is Luigi... Havent' bought anything great on the Switch since launch year... Microsoft and Sony didn't surprise me... Anything big they'll hold to launch their next-gen consoles next year... PC game show was a wasteland as well.
Watched ETA prime modify an arcade1Up (streetfighter) cab, adding a retro pi in there...Has me thinking.
I'll get Pokemon Sword and Shield but the last 2 games didn't really thrill me. They need to do something different with this IP. It needs some new changeup of some sort.
Animal Crossing being delayed really sucks, but I'll get it when it does come out. Not sure about the Tent thing. I liked expanding the house. I hope the tent has the same expansion capabilities.
Witcher 3 announcement was great. I will double dip just to support these type of efforts. Portable even with some compromises will be cool.
Really wanted to see Bayonetta 3. even some footage would have been nice. Unfortunately it and Metroid are apparently at least a year or 2 out. Hoping Bayo sees a release next year, preferably earlier.
As for other platforms nothing really thrilled me.
Xbox items of note:
State of Decay2-Heartlands is a buy. It will get me back to playing that awesome game again.
Cyberpunk 2077 I may try.
Dying Light 2, probably. But only after I actually play the first one in my backlog.
Well, in any case it looks like I may get time to catch up on some of that huge backlog of games I have ready to fall over and bury me. lol.

I'm looking forward to Gods and Monsters. The announcement had good timing as I'm currently playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey by the same development team. It's a good Witcher-style RPG but the IP holds it back. Gods and Monsters will be Zelda style.
